When should breast lipofilling be performed?

At Liposuccion HD Paris, we know that the breasts occupy a very special place in a woman's life, as a symbol of femininity and seduction, but also of maternity. The breasts are at the heart of the female silhouette, and play a vital role in body harmony.

After pregnancy or weight changes, breasts can look "empty" and "saggy". Not all women who wish to improve the aesthetics of their breasts want to have implants, and some of them are on the lookout for them.

looking for more "natural" methods without the drawbacks associated with breast implants. New fat transfer techniques enable fat to be removed from one or more parts of the body and placed elsewhere after purification.

Lipofilling restores the natural shape and contour of the breasts using your own fat. It can also be used to correct breast asymmetries, breast hypotrophy, increase buttock volume or rejuvenate the face.

This technique is suitable for people with a good fat reserve and is not intended for very thin patients.

Pre-procedure consultations

You will discuss your wishes and expectations with your surgeon during the 2 consultations scheduled for this purpose, which will enable us to precisely define your project. Your breasts will be analyzed and examined in order to best adapt the surgical technique to your morphology and expectations. Before surgery, radiological examinations (ultrasound, mammography, MRI if necessary) are required to ensure that there is no risk to the mammary gland.

Numerous photos will be taken, and we'll provide you with a simulation of the results we're aiming for, so you can plan ahead.

We'll also assess skin quality, scarring and the extent of sun exposure, because of their potential impact on the procedure and its aftermath.

Together, we will agree on the areas to be treated and the quantity of fat tissue to be injected and liposuctioned.

Procedure for breast lipofilling

On the day of the operation, the surgeon makes precise drawings of the breast and the areas to be liposuctioned, which will guide him throughout the surgery. You will also have the opportunity to ask him any final questions you may have about the procedure. The medical (anesthetist) and paramedical team will then take charge of you and accompany you to the operating room.

The procedure takes place under general anesthesia and lasts 1h30 to 2h.

After anesthesia, small incisions of a few millimeters are made to start the infiltration of a saline solution with adrenaline to reduce bleeding and increase your comfort on waking.

The surgeon then passes an ultrasound probe under the skin into the deep and superficial fat to liquefy it and facilitate its removal, as well as re-tensioning your skin.

The fat is then aspirated using a conventional cannula, in a gentle, non-traumatizing way since it has been liquefied beforehand.

This results in a significant reduction in edema, bruising and bleeding compared to conventional liposuction.

The fat is then purified and separated from blood and unnecessary fluids, and the surgeon injects the fat into the breasts to restore their shape and harmonious volume.

  • You should resume sporting activities after 4 weeks and avoid smoking and sun exposure.
  • You will see your surgeon several times for follow-up consultations.
  • A compression garment should be worn for 4 to 6 weeks after the operation.
  • Pain may persist for a few days, but you'll have all the prescriptions you need for your comfort.
  • The result is definitive and visible between the third and sixth months.
  • Any variation in weight will lead to a variation in results, so it's up to you to take care of your lifestyle to avoid major weight variations.

Prices for breast augmentation by Lipofilling

Liposuction to recover the fat to be reinjected into the breast can be performed with VASER lipo to achieve results superior to conventional liposuction.

The technologies used are costly and require special maintenance due to their fragility, which means they are more expensive than conventional liposuction.

The price will also depend on the number of areas you wish to lipoaspirate.
